SIGNED 1989 Rockingham Raced Win Diecast
SIGNED 1989 Rockingham Raced Win Diecast
After years of trying to make it in the NASCAR Cup Series®, Mark Martin raced to his first victory on October 22, 1989, in Rockingham, North Carolina. It was his second season driving for Roush Racing – a fledgling NASCAR® team he was helping owner Jack Roush develop.
“It had been such a difficult journey to finally get that first win,” Martin said. “It felt more like a relief than anything else. It felt like my life’s mission was fulfilled.”
Martin’s victory came in the first front steer car the Roush team ever built and, in a chassis so famous, it earned its own t-shirt – JR10.
Now Lionel Racing is excited to offer Martin’s fans the first-ever Raced Win die-cast of his No. 6 Stroh’s Light 1989 Rockingham, NC Win Ford. Available in 1:24 scale, this officially licensed die-cast is produced with an opening hood and trunk, rolling tires, hand-placed decals, and a host of authentic details. Plus, all the scuffs and damage seen on Martin’s winning car in 1989 have been re-created by Lionel’s artist to produce a collectible that captures this special moment in time.
This special NASCAR® Classics Mark Martin die-cast will be made as part of a strictly limited edition, so don’t wait to order. Reserve yours today!
