The 1990 Tyson Holly Farms 400 at North Wilkesboro Speedway came down to a battle between two NASCAR® greats: Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt. As the race wound down, chassis adjustments under caution put Martin in position to dive low and pass Earnhardt for the lead in his No. 6 Folgers Coffee Ford. With 38 laps left to run, the Roush Racing driver pulled away and never looked back. It was Martin’s third win of the 1990 season.
