The May 1997 NASCAR Cup Series® race at Talladega Superspeedway put Roush driver Mark Martin in the racing record books.

During the caution-free, rain-delayed event, Martin and his No. 6 Valvoline Ford averaged 188.354 mph – breaking a speed record previously set at Talladega by driver Bill Elliott. The victory was Martin’s second win in a row and his second of the 1997 season.

Now, Lionel Racing proudly offers Martin’s record-breaking No. 6 Valvoline Talladega Win die-cast as the next release in its NASCAR® Classics line. Available in 1:24 scale, this officially licensed die-cast is produced with an opening hood and trunk, rolling tires, a hand-applied decal package, and even more realistic details. Plus, each of these No. 6 Valvoline Fords is designed to replicate all the scuffs and race markings seen on Martin’s actual race car after it crossed the finish line at Talladega.

Only a limited number of this Martin NASCAR Classics die-cast will be produced, so don’t delay. Reserve yours today!
